We all lead busy lives… for some it’s work, kids, family, school or all of them! After a while running this fast paced “rat-race”, can wear us down where we begin to feel worn down and unproductive which is why it’s important to RECHARGE by taking some time out for ourselves.
This can be done in many ways, here are a few suggestions…
* Indulge Yourself! Take a long luxurious soak in the tub….
You can use use bubble bath, oils, bath salts, (epsom sea-salt have great detoxifying properties), Baking soda (to soften skin), light some candles, play some soft music, pour a glass of your favorite beverage.
Soak for 20 minutes, while letting your cares float away!
* Find a quiet place whether it be inside or outside …
I enjoy sitting in my backyard or by a creek, and read a good book while listening to the sounds of nature around me.
* Give yourself a mini-spa pampering session …
I sometimes use a facial scrub then apply a mask then just sit quietly with my eyes closed (you can also add music if you choose), until it dries, take a a warm/hot shower then apply my favorite face lotion, foot cream, and body lotion.
